Cuyahoga Community College offers several opportunities for those interested in pursuing a career in the field of Education. The courses offered within each program will vary depending upon the college and career path of each student. Early Childhood Education (Ages 0 - 5 years)
The Associate of Applied Science degree in Early Childhood Education prepares students to teach young children in a variety of inclusive childhood settings, including preschools pre-kindergarten, 头开始, childcare centers and infant/toddler programs. Qualified students who complete this program can earn the Ohio Pre-Kindergarten Associate Licensure (certain requirements must be met).

Are you interested in earning your degree in Education? Students interested in education at Tri-C would earn an 副学士学位, which would include foundational coursework such as general education and introductory education classes, in order to transfer to a four-year baccalaureate program. The 副学士学位 is a flexible degree that allows students to choose coursework based on their four-year plan of study.
This course would pave the way for a career teaching in a public school system from Pre-Kindergarten to 12th grade, assuming transfer to an appropriate four-year college and successful completion. Students who complete the curriculum will have completed the degree requirements as well as many of the general education courses needed to transfer to a four-year teacher preparation program. 除了, students will take a number of courses that cover the fundamentals of teaching and education.
